Sandra Bishop

Sandra Jean Davis Bishop, 73, of Spartanburg, SC died Thursday, April 1, 2021 at her home. Born April 5, 1947 in Mt. Airy, NC, she was the daughter of the late Charles Raymond and Mary Lorene White Davis and wife of the late Russell Eugene Bishop. A cake baker, Mrs. Bishop was a member of Church at The Mill and former member of Croft Baptist Church where she was WMU Director, taught GA and Acteens, and was head of the Needle Art Division at Piedmont Interstate Fair. Survivors include her son, Keith Bishop (Karen) of Spartanburg, SC; daughter, Shannan B. Manly (John) of Moore, SC; grandchildren, Stephanie Spake, Samantha Cathcart, Rachael Manly, Tyler Bishop, and Jeffery James, and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother, Rodney Davis. Graveside services will be held 4:00 PM Saturday, April 3, 2021 in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by The Rev. Gene Pace. Visitation will be at the graveside. Mrs. Bishop will be available for friends and family to view from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
