Samuel Riddle

Samuel Elmer Riddle, 80, of Spartanburg, died Wednesday, July 27, 2011, at his home. Born April 23, 1931, in Spartanburg County, he was the son of the late William Samuel "W. S." and Bertie Mitchell Riddle. Mr. Riddle was a veteran of the U. S. Army and served during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and employed in the oil recycling industry as a machinery maintenance technician. Survivors include his wife, Lillian Pearl Simmons Riddle of the home; and several nieces and nephews. A cryptside service will be conducted at 4:00 PM Saturday, July 30, 2011, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Complex, by the Rev. Andy Case.
