Samuel Dean Littlejohn, 71, of Spartanburg, died Friday, June 13, 2014, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born October 28, 1942, in Gaffney, SC, he was the son of the late Sampson McSwain and Viola Waters Littlejohn. He was a U.S. Army veteran, retired manager of Blackman Uhler Co. after 40 years of service, and a Mason of the Beaumont Masonic Lodge. Mr. Littlejohn loved to fish, enjoyed camping, and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his wife, Nancy Worley Littlejohn; son, Christopher McSwain Littlejohn and wife Wendy of Mt. Pleasant, SC; grandson and granddaughter, Christopher McSwain Littlejohn, Jr. and Erin Jacqueline Littlejohn, both of Mt. Pleasant; step-daughter and step-grandson, Jeri and Max, both of Spartanburg; and sister, Patricia Caldwell of Chesnee, SC. A memorial service with military rites, conducted by the Rev. Ondra Black, will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, June 18, 2014, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Visitation will follow the service at the Chapel.
