Samuel Buonanno

Samuel S. Buonanno, 85, of Spartanburg, SC passed away peacefully at home on December 23, 2022. He was born on December 23, 1937, in Canandaigua, NY to the late Alesandro and Lucy Vinciquerra Buonanno.

Samuel worked as an engineer for many years with the Schlegel Corporation in Rochester, NY and invented several patents for the company. Samuel loved gardening in his retirement years, especially at the home he and his wife, Mary, owned in Fairport, NY.

He leaves behind his daughters, Debra Kretovic (James) and Lisa Schojan; his son, Vincent Buonanno; grandchildren, Julia Schojan, Vincent Schojan, and Jennifer Schojan; great granddaughter, Scarlet Schojan; and his brother, Alexander Buonanno. He is predeceased by his wife of 50 years, Mary Buonanno; his sisters, Celia Buonanno and Mary Bertino; his brothers, Gene Buonanno and Michael Buonanno.

He will be missed very much.
