Sam Guy

Buddy Guy, 51, of Spartanburg, died Monday, February 28, 2011 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born February 1, 1960, in Spartanburg, he was the son of Frank Major Guy of Spartanburg and the late Jewel Freida Wall, and the stepson of Mike Wall of Chesnee. Buddy was a member of Chesnee First Baptist Church and a pipe fitter for Clarkson Brothers. In addition to his father, survivors include a sister, Tina Wood and her husband Scott of Chesnee; two brothers, Terry Guy and his wife Katie of Spartanburg, and Micky Wall of Chesnee; three nieces; and three nephews. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Charlie Glover. Memorials may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303. The family is at their respective homes.
