Ruth Kirby Glover

Ruth Kirby Glover, 94, of Inman, SC died Friday, January 20, 2023. Born July 19, 1928 in Spartanburg, SC, she was a daughter of the late Carl and Flossie Mae Culbertson Kirby.

Ruth was a long time employee and retired from Butte Knitting. She was a member of Cudd Memorial Baptist Church and the Love Sunday School Class.

Survivors include her daughters, Peggy Jean Glover of Boiling Springs, SC, Mary Frances Walker of Boiling Springs, SC and Carolyn Ruth Cooksey of Inman, SC; her son, Jerry Timothy Glover of Quepos, Costa Rica; thirteen grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren; numerous great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Joann Hammett (Larry) of Virginia. Ruth is predeceased by her husband, Arthur Earl Glover, three brothers and one sister.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, January 23, 2023 at Sunset Memorial Park, 1955 Cannons Campground Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307 conducted by the Rev. Danny Garrett. Visitation will follow at the graveside.

The family will be at the home.
