Emma Ruth Bradley Wilcox, 82, of Spartanburg, died Friday, November 13, 2009, at Mary Black Memorial Hospital. Born June 20, 1927, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Memory Wells and Clara Kimbrell Bradley and the wife of the late Donald Wilcox. She was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Lynda Ruth Wilcox Marvel and her husband Gerald of Federal Way, WA; a son, Bill Wilcox of Spartanburg; a son-in-law, Thad Colcolough of Greenwood; a foster son, Bill Heym of Anchorage, AK; three sisters, Geraldine "Jean" Bradley White and her husband Otis of Chesnee, Deloris Bradley Abbott of Spartanburg, and Agnes Bradley Petty Wray and her husband Ron of Greenwood; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Donna Gail Colcolough; three brothers; and two sisters. Visitation will be 2:00-2:45 p.m. Sunday, November 15, 2009, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the Chapel conducted by the Rev. Tyler Kirby. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family is at the home.
