Ruth Mckinney

Ruth Shelton McKinney of Spartanburg, passed away Saturday, August 25, 2012 at White Oak Estates. She was the widow of James L. McKinney and daughter of the late Moody S. and Mila Ballenger Shelton. Mrs. McKinney was a member of Reidville Presbyterian Church, Reidville, SC. Survivors are daughter, Becky Nesbitt and husband David of Moore; granddaughter, Leigh N. Nichelson of Moore; brother, Elbert Shelton of Duncan; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Russell Shelton and sister, Louise Shelton. Graveside services will be held at 4:00 PM Monday, August 27, 2012 in Greenlawn memorial Gardens. Visitation will follow the service at the graveside. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Care of South Carolina, 110 Dillon Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
