Ruth Mcfall

Ruth Steadman McFall, 82, of Spartanburg, died Saturday, February 27, 2010, at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born July 24, 1927, in New Prospect, SC, she was the daughter of the late Zeno and Mattie Buice Steadman and was married to the late Boyd Daniel McFall. She was the former co-owner of Spartanburg City Cab and of the Baptist faith. Survivors include two daughters, Kay MacDougall and her husband Chuck of Jonesville, and Gail Pickel of Spartanburg; a son, Boyd Daniel (Danny) McFall of Spartanburg; grandchildren, Tommy, David, Vicki, Sherry, Jerry, Joey, John, and Alexis, all of Spartanburg, and Tracy of Statesville, NC; and nineteen great-grandchildren. Ruth was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Visitation will be 10:00-10:45 a.m., Tuesday, March 2, 2010, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel conducted by the Rev. Joe Mosley and the Rev. Darren Beaver. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
