Ruth Kirkpatrick

Ruth Myers Kirkpatrick, 65, of Moore, died Saturday, September 22, 2012 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born January 19, 1947 in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of Kathleen Weest Myers and the late Lester Leroy Myers and wife of John Russell "Rusty" Kirkpatrick. Mrs. Kirkpatrick formerly worked at Arrow Automotive; a member of Nazareth Presbyterian Church and member of the church choir for more than 35 years. She was also a member of Peach Piper Chorus of Sweet Adelines International, Order of Eastern Star, and American Radio Relay League. Surviving, in addition to her husband and mother, are brother, Edward G. Myers of Newport, NC; and two sisters, Joanne M. Lynn of Palatka, FL and Leslie L. Myers of Spartanburg. Funeral service will be conducted at 4:00 PM Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at Nazareth Presbyterian Church by the Rev. David Sutton. Burial will be in Nazareth Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Visitation will follow the service. Memorials may be made to Nazareth Presbyterian Church Choir Music Fund, 680 Nazareth Church Road, Moore, SC 29369. The family is at the home.
