Ruth Harris

Gladys Ruth Graham Harris, 75, of Spartanburg, SC, died Tuesday, December 4, 2018, at her home. Born July 17, 1943, in Spartanburg County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Jake and Mary Bogan Graham and widow of Larry Dean Harris. A graduate of Roebuck High School, Mrs. Harris retired from St. James United Methodist Church Kindergarten after 35 years of service. She was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her children, Larry Todd Harris and Kevin Dean Harris (Ginger); grandchildren, William Dean Harris and Allison Michelle Harris, all of Roebuck, SC; sister, Joan Byers of Spartanburg, SC; and brothers, Jack Graham of Spartanburg, SC and Ray Graham of Roebuck, SC. Visitation will be 12:00 noon-1:30 PM Friday, December 7, 2018, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 PM in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by The Rev. Dr. Scott Linnerud.
