Ruth Foster

Ruth Sherbert Foster, 96, of Boiling Springs, SC, formerly of Spartanburg, SC, died Friday, September 7, 2018 at Wesley Court Assisted Living. Born February 12, 1922 in Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of the late Phil Mack Sherbert and Dora M. Harvey. She was the widow of William Howard Foster. Ruth was a homemaker and was a member of Central United Methodist Church. Survivors include her daughter in law, Cynthia Dale Blackwell Foster of Boiling Springs, SC; granddaughters, Stephanie Roland (Matthew) and Melissa Stiling (Kirkland), all of Boiling Springs, SC; four great grandchildren, Addison and Foster Stiling, Asher and Micah Roland. She was also predeceased by 12 brothers and sisters. Visitation will be 6:30 - 8:00 PM Sunday, September 9, 2018 at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel, 235 North Church Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Monday, September 10, 2018 at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel, conducted by The Rev. Dr. Tom Norrell. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, 1955 Cannons Campground Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
