Ruth Fitzgerald

Ruth Jane Fitzgerald, 70, of Inman, died Monday, September 3, 2012, at her home. Born July 24, 1942, in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Amos James Gregory Jr. and Eva Augusta Gloss Gregory. Ruth was a member of Milestones Church where she was active in church activities and she was the leader of The Good News Club at Jesse Bobo Elementary School. Surviving are her sons, Robert Gregory Fitzgerald (Donna M.) of Anderson, SC, and David Michael Fitzgerald (Karen F.) of Inman, SC; grandchildren, Victoria Morgan Fitzgerald, Kevin Jacob McKinley, and Zachery David Fitzgerald; sister, Janet MacLea (Jim) of Ft. Worth, TX; and brother, Amos James Gregory III of Chicago, IL; and a number of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 12:00 noon - 1:45 PM Thursday, September 6, 2012, at Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Hub Blankenship Jr. Burial will be in Shiloh Memorial Cemetery, 4040 New Cut Road, Inman.
