Ruth Corrina Snapp Easler, 91, of Pacolet, SC passed away peacefully Saturday, May 15, 2021. Born March 12, 1930 in Pacolet, SC, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Ellis and Minnie Jones Snapp and the widow of Carlton Easler (2011), Everett Osment (1974), and Wallace Henderson (1952).
Ruth was a graduate of Pacolet High School, then employed by Southern Bell and Milliken, before becoming a mother and homemaker. She was of the Methodist faith, attending St. Mark United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her sons, Michael Osment (Letha) of Spartanburg, SC, Keith Henderson (Kathy) of Pacolet, SC, and a daughter, Linda Ramsey (Ronnie) of Pacolet, SC; five grandchildren, Kandice Tucker (Travis), Chelsey Justice (Brandon), Dale Ogle, Angela Justice (Anthony), and Kristy Osment (James); nine great-grandchildren, Makaila, Brandon, Anna, Anthony, Sabrina, Ragina, Alex and Jamie. She was also predeceased by a great-grandchild, Brayzon, five brothers, Alderson, Doddie, Kenneth, Jesse and Earl; and four sisters, Annie, Nettie, Rosella and Barbara.
Visitation will be 9:30 – 10:30 AM Thursday, May 20, 2021 at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral service will be 10:30 AM at the chapel, conducted by The Rev. Wayne Major. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mark United Methodist Church, 3055 E. Main Street Ext., Spartanburg, SC 29302.
