Russell Goucher

Russell Stuart Goucher, 63, of 100 Perry Drive, died Saturday, May 9, 2009, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born April 4, 1946, in England, he was the son of the late William Henry and Marjorie Elsie Doughty Goucher. He was a design engineer for the textile and HVAC industries. He is survived by his beloved wife, Shelagh; four sons, Christopher, Martin, Andrew and his wife Karyn, and Phillip; four granddaughters, Kirsty, Lisa, Elyise, and Emilia; a sister, Julie Dickman and her husband Colin; a sister-in-law, Ena Corcoran and her husband Brian; three nieces, Anna, Gemma, and Donna; four nephews, Gareth, Stuart, Michael, and Steven; and many, many friends. The family would like to thank the staff at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center for all their care and help. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, 2009, at the home, 100 Perry Drive, Boiling Springs. He held our hands, and will always be in our hearts.
