Russell Brent (Rusty) Edwards, 50, of Boiling Springs, SC died Friday, December 11, 2015, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born November 13, 1965, in Spartanburg County, SC, he was the son of Robert "Bob" Franklin and Sibyl Hall Edwards. Rusty was an employee of CR Brands and formerly a longtime employee of Mount Vernon Mills in Arkwright. He was a member of Valley Falls First Baptist Church. Surviving are his loving wife of 20 years, Anna Sullivan Edwards; sons, Noah Brent Edwards and Andrew Hall Edwards of the home; sister, Denise Edwards Parker of Boiling Springs, SC; brothers, Randy (Juliaanne) Edwards of Seneca, SC; Roger (Sandra) Edwards of Boiling Springs, SC; and Robby (Mary) Edwards of Inman, SC; several nieces and nephews along with great nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Paula Scruggs Edwards; and brother-in-law, Broughton Sullivan. He was predeceased by a brother-in-law, Earl Parker; sister-in-law, Debbie Horton Edwards; father and mother-in-law, Broughton Elvin Thomas, Jr. and Joanne Sullivan. Visitation will be 1:30 - 2:45 PM Sunday, December 13, 2015, at Valley Falls First Baptist Church, 8352 Valley Falls Road, Boiling Springs, SC 29316. Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, conducted by Mr. Jerry Cobb. Burial will be in Boiling Springs Memorial Gardens, 4081 Hwy 9 North, Boiling Springs, SC 29316.
