Rubye Haynie

Rubye Day Haynie, 97, of Inman, SC died Friday, May 21, 2021 at her home. Born October 10, 1923 in Covington, GA, she was the daughter of the late Jesse Dozier and Leila May Christian Day and the widow of Robert “Bob” Floyd Haynie.

Rubye was retired from Rich’s Department Store. She was a member of Second Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include her son, Robert “Bob” F. Haynie, Jr. (Karen) of Campobello, SC; three grandchildren, Brian David Haynie, Melanie Melissa Parkkonen (Aaron), Kristen Leigh Miller (James); six great grandchildren, Ashley Breckenbridge (Tanner), Kimberly Haynie, Blaine Johnson, Brianne Johnson, Landon Miller, and Grayson Miler; and her half-sister, Peggy Koehl of Spring, Texas.

Visitation will be 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM Tuesday, May 25, 2021 Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Graveside service will follow at 1:00 PM in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by The Rev. Jason Moore.
