Ruby Trail

Ruby Kate West Trail, 92, of Spartanburg, died Thursday, June 16, 2011, at her home. Born September 9, 1918, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Sam J. and Tiny Valentine Fowler West, and wife of the late Raymond Cecil Trail. Ruby was a member of Skylyn United Methodist Church. Survivors include her son, Raymond Cecil Trail, Jr. (Jean) of Spartanburg; her daughter, Kay T. McBee of Cross Hill; two grandchildren, Ryan W. Trail (Grace), and Matthew E. Trail; two great-grandchildren, Holmes and Ellis Trail; sisters, Ruth West and Anne McGarity, both of Spartanburg, and Shirley Orr (Harold) of Greenville; and a brother, Wayne West of Clinton. Visitation will be 1:00-1:45 PM Sunday, June 19, 2011 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM, in the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Sal Barone and the Rev. Bill Adams.
