Ruby Sinclair

Ruby Lawson Sinclair, 85, of Spartanburg, SC, died Monday, March 14, 2016, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born December 28, 1930, in Union County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Sara Jane Brewington Lawson and widow of William "Bill" Jackson Sinclair. A graduate of Cross Anchor High School, Mrs. Sinclair was of the Wesleyan faith and loved her Lord, family, and especially her granddaughter Chelsea. She was a great cook who also had a green thumb and loved flowers, plants, and trees. Survivors include her children, Linda S. Hawkins (Bobby) of Spartanburg, SC and Wayne Sinclair (Susan) of Boiling Springs, SC; granddaughter, Chelsea Barnes (Brandon) of Spartanburg, SC; great-grandson, Ethan Barnes; sister, Kate Wofford of Cross Anchor, SC; and brother, W. C. Lawson of Clinton, SC. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a brother, Earl Lawson. A graveside service will be conducted at 3:00 PM Thursday, March 17, 2016, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307, by the Rev. Keith Higginbotham.
