Ruby Quinn

Ruby Lee Bishop Quinn, 71, of Roebuck, died Friday, August 12, 2011 at her home. Born January 21, 1940 in Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of Eva Mae Pye Bishop and the late Walter Warren Bishop and formerly married to the late John Ralph Quinn. Mrs. Quinn was a retired from Wachovia Bank, a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church, the Truth Seekers Sunday School Class, and was a volunteer in the church office. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her brothers, J. D. Bishop of Spartanburg and Charles Bishop of Inman. She was predeceased by her son, Johnny Quinn. Visitation will be 9:30-10:30 AM Monday, August 15, 2011 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM in the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Joshua C. Jennings, the Rev. Edgar Boles, and the Rev. Dr. Roland L. Dry, Jr. Burial will be in Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery.
