Ruby Morgan

Ruby Kate Burch Morgan, 95, of Spartanburg, died Wednesday, August 24, 2011, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice House. Born May 22, 1916, in Duncan, SC, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Lily Arms Burch, and wife of the late J. T. "Red" Morgan. Mrs. Morgan was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, homemaker, and friend. She was a member of Harvest Baptist Church. Survivors include her children, Bobby Morgan and wife Peggy, Linda Lindsay and husband Raleigh, B. K. Cole and husband Don, and Debbie Emory and husband Harold, all of Spartanburg; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Padgett of New Prospect, SC. She was predeceased by her son, Billy Wayne Morgan. Visitation will be 10:00-10:45 AM Saturday, August 27, 2011, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM, in the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Dr. Terry McMillian and the Rev. Ray Lanford. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
