Ruby Millwood

Ruby Bagwell Millwood, 99, of Spartanburg, SC, died Monday, November 18, 2013, at Mary Black Memorial Hospital-ER. Born June 18, 1914, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Charlie M. and Alice McCarley Bagwell, and wife of the late Charlie Asbury Millwood. Mrs. Millwood was retired from Clifton Mill #2. She attended St. Mark United Methodist Church and was an avid gardener. Surviving are a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by two brothers, J. K. Bagwell and Jesse Bagwell; and two sisters, Ola Bagwell and Callie Seay. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 20, 2013, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307, by the Rev. John Howle. Visitation will follow at the graveside. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mark United Methodist Church, 3055 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307.
