Ruby Lipsey

Ruby Irene Manis Lipsey, 86, of Cross Hill, SC died Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born October 9, 1929 in Rogersville, TN, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Edward and Annie C. Snapp Manis. She was predeceased by her first husband, Leonard Robert Klepper and also predeceased by Willie Austin Lipsey. Ruby attended Bethabara Baptist Church. She loved her family and enjoyed living on the lake. One of her favorite pastimes was to enjoy trips with the "Pacolet Travelers." Survivors include sons, Randall Klepper (Barbara) of Chesnee, SC; Ronnie Klepper of Cross Hill, SC; four grandchildren, Travis, Dustin, Jeffrey, Jennifer; four great grandchildren, Caitlyn, Dakota, Camren, Trenton; brothers, Dallas Manis of Lake Murray, SC; and T.J. Manis of Montgomery, AL. She was also predeceased by a sister, Odell Owensby. Visitation will be 1:00 - 2:15 PM Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at Floyd's Pacolet Chapel, 141 Memorial Drive, Pacolet, SC 29372. Funeral service will be 2:30 PM Floyd's Pacolet Chapel, 141 Memorial Drive, Pacolet, SC 29372, conducted by the Rev. Eddie Saxon and the Rev. Robert Dorn. Burial will follow in Pacolet Memorial Gardens, 141 Memorial Drive, Pacolet, SC 29372. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303. The family will be at their respective homes.
