Ruby Edwards

Ruby Levenia Horton Edwards, 89, of Spartanburg, SC, died Friday, September 25, 2020 at her home. Born April 16, 1931 in Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Lizzie Rebecca Hinson Horton and the widow of William Paul Edwards, Sr. Ruby was a homemaker and was a member of Crossway Church. Survivors include her daughter, Teresa Sawyer; grandchildren, Keith Fortenberry, Paula Coley, and Andy Sawyer; great grandchildren, Taylor Sawyer, Autumn Mattox, Drew Sawyer, Matthew Sawyer, Gavin Ward, De Andre Jones, Tyrique Glenn, Madison Fortenberry; great-great grandchildren, Brantlee and Lucas Silvers. She was predeceased by a son, William "Bill" Paul Edwards, Jr. Visitation will be at 12:30 - 1:45 PM Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM at the chapel, conducted by The Rev. Kevin Smith. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
