Ruby Cook

Ruby Hudgins Cook, 86, of Pacolet, SC, died Saturday, December 06, 2014 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. She was born in Cowpens, SC on November 11, 1928 to the late Curtis and Stella Martin Hudgins. She was retired from Pacolet Mills and was of the Baptist faith. She was survived by daughters, Susan C. (Ron) Rardin of Pacolet, SC; Janice (Mike) Smith of Surfside Beach, SC; son, Terry Neal Cook of Greenville, SC; granddaughter, Lorie (Don) Jones of Pacolet, SC; grandson, Chris (Lori) Hogan of Spartanburg, SC; two great-grandsons, Brad Jones of Pacolet, SC; and Will Hogan of Spartanburg, SC; great great-granddaughter Baylee Patty of Spartanburg, SC; and sister, Nina (Pete) O'Steen of Pacolet, SC. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Neal Cook and brothers, D.B. Hudgins and her twin, Reubin Hudgins. Visitation will be 11:00 AM - Noon, Monday, December 8, 2014 at Floyd's Pacolet Chapel, 141 Memorial Drive, Pacolet, SC 29372. Graveside services will be 1:00 PM in White Plains Baptist Church Cemetery, 206 Soapstone Road, Gaffney, SC 29340, conducted by the Rev. Dennis Tessnier.
