Rozelle Whitt

Rozelle Jones Whitt, 86, of 920 N. Hwy 150, died Friday, December 23, 2011. Born May 3, 1925 in Pacolet Mills, she was the daughter of the late Hugh and Ollie Manes Jones and wife of the late James Wilbur Whitt. She was retired from Pacolet Manufacturing Company and a member of Pacolet Mills Baptist Church. Survivors include three daughters, Judy Neal of Spartanburg, Dianne Whitt of Pacolet, and Jenny Wright (Richard) of Boiling Springs; son James W. Whitt, Jr. and wife Sherry of Pacolet; six grandchildren, Narda Morris, Stephanie Howard, Lowell Neal, Trevor Whitt, Hannah Whitt and Jacob Whitt; seven great-grandchildren, Sara Parker, Kayla Neal, Olivia Howard, B J Morris, Colby Morris, Jamie Morris and Ava Whitt; four sisters, Elizabeth Adams of Starr, Doris Hogan, Annette Thompson, and Sylvia Motts all of Pacolet; and brother, Dean Jones of Pacolet. She was predeceased by four sisters, Ruby Gordon, Hazel Hines, Nellie Holmes, and Christine Poole; and two grandchildren, Gina Parker and Jeffrey Whitt. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, December 26, 2011 at Floyd's Pacolet Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Robert Ivey. Burial will be in Pacolet Memorial Gardens.
