Roy Lowe, Sr.

Roy Carson Lowe, Sr. "Pop", 73, of Boiling Springs, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 12, 2011 at Magnolia Manor-Inman. Born May 30, 1937, in Fingerville, SC, he was the son of the late William and Nancy McAbee Lowe. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Roy was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force and a retired painter. Survivors include his sons, Pastor Roy C. Lowe, Jr. and his wife Leslie of Union, Danny Lowe and Brian K. Lowe and his wife Shannon, all of Boiling Springs; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Sandra Lynn Lowe. Visitation will be 7:00-9:00 PM Sunday, May 15, 2011 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Monday, May 16, 2011 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Todd Black. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be his son's and grandson's. The family is at the home of his son, Brian Lowe, 242 Rainbow Circle, Boiling Springs.
