Roy Fain, Sr.

Roy Finnly Fain, Sr., 73, of Cowpens, died Saturday, October 6, 2012 at Mary Black Memorial Hospital. Born March 3, 1939 in Clifton, SC, he was the son of the late Ernest Creed and Maude Elizabeth White Fain. He was a facility maintenance technician and of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his wife of 44 years of marriage, Martha "Booter" Inman Fain; two sons, Roy "Finnly" Fain, Jr. and wife Pam and Matthew Mark Fain and wife Amy; grandson, Zachery Creed Fain; sister, Diane Higgins; and his beloved cat, Miss Kitty. He was predeceased by brothers, Jesse Fain and Marshall Fain; sisters, Jennie Lee Silvey, and Doris Wood; and his beloved dog, Scooter. Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM Monday, October 8, 2012 at Daniel Morgan Memorial Gardens, conducted by the Rev. Joseph McGaha. Visitation will follow at the graveside.
