Rose Marie Stockman Hunter, 52, of 406 Pleasant Green Drive, died Monday, January 25, 2010, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC. Born September 16, 1957, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of Delores Shepard Stockman and the late Leon Edwin Stockman. She was a graduate of Dorman High School Class of '76, and she was also a graduate of Spartanburg Technical College. She was a member of Inman Mills Baptist Church and the Faithful Workers Sunday School Class. Surviving in addition to her mother is her husband, James "Jimmy" Wilson Hunter, Jr.; a sister, Camille S. Buchanan and her husband Tim of Boiling Springs; a brother, Richard Stockman of Spartanburg; a step-daughter, Christy Hunter Miller and her husband Jared of Inman; and two sisters-in-law, Connie Hunter Stevens and her husband Charlie of Woodruff, and Becky Hunter Stockton and her husband T. J. of Blue Ridge. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Hugh C. and Myrtle M. Shepard, and Olen R. and Bessie W. Stockman. Visitation will be 7:00-8:30 p.m. Thursday, January 28, 2010, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, January 29, 2010, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel conducted by the Rev. Jack Hames. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
