Rose House

Rose B. House, 85, of Moore, died Thursday, April 26, 2012, at Mary Black Memorial Hospital. Born May 19, 1926, in Moore, SC, she was the daughter of the late Marshall and Bessie Cox Boyter, and wife of the late Milton Floyd House. Mrs. House was employed by Startex Mills for 53 years. She was an avid gardener who loved sharing vegetables with relatives and friends. Her quick wit and sense of humor will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was a lifelong member of the Baptist faith and is resting now waiting for the call of the Lord. Survivors include her son, Alfred Floyd House of Moore. Visitation will be 6:30-7:30 PM Friday, April 27, 2012, at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 28, 2012, in Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, by the Rev. Gerald Burnett and Dr. Kenneth R. Wynn.
