Rose Cantrell

Rose C. Sellers Cantrell, 88, formerly of Osage Street, died Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born May 6, 1922 in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late William Powell and Fannie Iola Walker Sellers and the wife of the late Albert Venda Cantrell. Mrs. Cantrell was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Spartanburg. Survivors include two daughters, Annette Ballard and husband Jerry of Spartanburg and Rosemary Gray and husband Rick of Rock Hill; two sons, Albert Mark Cantrell and Walter Curtis Cantrell, both of Spartanburg; a granddaughter, Venda Nell Ballard; a sister, Ruth Coggins of New York; and two sisters-in-law, Willene Cantrell and Cecelia Cantrell. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, July 9, 2010 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 10, 2010 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, conducted by Rev. Scott Linnerud. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
