Rosa Lee Cox Miller, 81, of Spartanburg, died Friday, May 18, 2012, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born July 31, 1930, in Henderson County, NC, she was wife of the late Moss Miller Jr. for 39 years, and daughter of the late Raymond F. and Louise Hefner Cox. Mrs. Miller worked for 35 years as Personnel Director with ABF Trucking Company in Fletcher, NC. A graduate of Hendersonville High School, she obtained her Associate Degree in Business from Bob Jones University. She attended Providence Presbyterian Church in Spartanburg and was a member of Skylyn United Methodist Church in Skylyn, NC. She was an avid Atlanta Braves baseball fan and was dedicated to caring for her children. Surviving are her son, Michael Moss Miller Sr. and wife Angela of Pauline, SC; grandchildren, Margaret, Samuel, and Moss Miller of Pauline, SC; and brother, John W. Cox of Asheville, NC. She was predeceased by her brothers, Raymond Cox and Charles Cox; and a sister, Catherine Cox. Visitation will be 12:30-1:45 PM Monday, May 21, 2012, at Providence Presbyterian Church in Spartanburg. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM, at the church, conducted by the Rev. Daniel Coleman. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Moss and Rosa Lee Miller Memorial Guitar Scholarship, c/o Lawson Academy at Converse College, Office of Institutional Advancement, 580 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29302-1931. The family is at the home of Angela and Michael Miller, 310 Fincher Road, Pauline, SC 29374.
