Ronnie Junior "Cooter" Pilkington, 83, of Spartanburg, SC, died Sunday, September 2, 2018, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born June 7, 1935, in Clifton, SC, he was the son of the late Octavis Pilkington and Juanita Hilton Pettit. He retired from Pet Dairy. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Dorothy Cartee Pilkington; children, Rhonda Loftis of Spartanburg, SC, Linda Mills (Bobby) of Clifton, SC, and Ronnie K. Pilkington (Rita) of Spartanburg, SC; 6 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and brothers, Harold Pilkington of Spartanburg, SC and James Cecil Pilkington of Florida. Visitation will be 7:00-9:00 PM Tuesday, September 4, 2018, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. A graveside service will be conducted at 3:00 PM Wednesday, September 5, 2018, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307, by The Rev. Ricci Allen Sr. The family is at the home of Linda and Bobby Mills.
