Ronald Ragan

Ronald Joel "Joe" Ragan, 72, of Spartanburg, died Friday, June 21, 2013, at his home. Born November 4, 1940, in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of the late Andrew Dean and Kannapolis McAbee Ragan. Mr. Ragan was a member of Boiling Spring Church of Christ, the owner of Yesterday's Mercantile, and employed with the Teamsters Union for 10 years. Survivors include his sister, Deanna Chitwood of Spartanburg; nephews, Scott Chitwood (Melanie), Mark Chitwood, Rodney Chitwood (Annette), Joe Dillard; and niece, Desirae Chitwood, all of Spartanburg, SC. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Linda Dillard. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 25, 2013, in Fort Prince Memorial Gardens, 125 Fort Prince Rd., Wellford, SC 29385. Visitation will follow at the graveside.
