Ronald Pruitt Sr.

Ronald Thomas Pruitt Sr., 74, of Spartanburg, SC died Monday, January 25, 2021 at Regency Hospital, Greenville, SC. He was born April 3, 1946 in Tryon, NC to the late Arthur and Alice Tucker Pruitt. Mr. Pruitt was co-owner of Advance Cleaning Company, Inc. He loved sports, especially the Carolina Panthers. Mr. Pruitt was a member of Cedar Spring Baptist Church and he loved Jesus, his family and grandchildren. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Charlotte Poston Pruitt; sons, Ronald Thomas Pruitt Jr. (Angela) of Spartanburg, SC and Phillip Newell Pruitt Sr. (Colleen) of Cross Anchor, SC; daughter, Heather Pruitt Hutson (Josh) of Spartanburg, SC; grandchildren, Thomas, Brandon, Jonathan, Phillip Jr., Joshua, Zachary, Jacob, Lottie and Behr; great-grandchildren, Madison, Penelope, Daniel, Bear, Miles and Liam; sister, Anniedean Hollingsworth of Greenville, SC and brothers, Ervin Pruitt of Greenville, SC, Sheral Pruitt (Judy) of Columbia, SC and Steve Pruitt of Greenville, SC. Graveside services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, January 31, 2021 in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC conducted by The Rev. Todd Lowe.
