Ronald "Ronnie" M. Cash

Ronald "Ronnie" M. Cash, 82, of Chesnee, SC, passed away on August 23, 2023, at Spartanburg Medical Center. He was born on May 24, 1941, in Chesnee, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Clyde Jefferson Cash and Annette Hughey Cash Elder.

In his earlier years, Ron lived on the lake where he loved to water ski and spend quality time with family. He also enjoyed playing golf and had a great passion for motorcycles. Riding was not just a hobby for him; it was a true love.

Throughout Ron's life, he embodied perseverance, resilience, and a strong work ethic. As a self-employed truck driver, he has shown his determination and dedication to providing for his family.

He leaves behind his daughters, Angela Cash and Rhonda Cash of Spartanburg; his grandchildren, Haylan Watts, Jill Watts, and Jacob Cash; 9 great-grandchildren; his nieces and nephews, Keith (Susan) Weathers of Moore, Cynthia (Paul) Edge of Moore, and Tony Cash of Chesnee. Their bond strengthened over the years through shared experiences and unconditional support.

Beyond immediate family members, Ron leaves behind extended family and friends. He valued these relationships greatly and cherished the moments spent together.

Ron was predeceased by his son, Terry Cash; sister, Patricia Weathers; brother, Glenn Cash; brother-in-law, Joe Weathers and his "cat buddy" of 18 years, M.C.  Although they are no longer with us, they will forever hold a special place in everyone's heart.

He will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives he touched. May Ron's soul find eternal peace as his memory continues to inspire us all.
