Ronald "Ron" Glenn Cole, 53, of 734 Foster Mill Road, Spartanburg, died Friday, July 5, 2013, at his home. Born July 4, 1960, in Spartanburg, he was a son of the late Lemuel Burton Cole, Jr. and Bonnie Jean Thorne Cole. He was a supervisor at Exopak, an avid Dallas Cowboy and Gamecock fan, loved horses, and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Cole is survived by his loving wife, Amanda Barber Cole; daughters, Leslee Marie Goodwin (Richard) of Chesnee, SC, Megan Rebecca Conley and Katelyn Grace Conley, both of Spartanburg; son, Rusty Glenn Cole (April) of Woodruff, SC; sisters, Susan Cole (Bob Waldt) of Lake Bowen, Inman, SC and Teresa Hammon (Ben) of Mayo, SC; brother, Michael "Smurf" Cole (Sharon) of Cowpens, SC; grandchildren, Madison Cole, Conner Cole, Isabel Roberts, Ava Grace Pressley; nieces, Brandy Taylor and Tina Steadman. He was predeceased by a daughter, Mindy Lynn Cole, and a sister, Emma. A memorial service will be at 3:00 PM Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Allen Dean Blanton. Visitation will follow the service at the chapel. The family is at the home.
