Ronald Howard Cannon, 73, of Moore, SC, died Tuesday, October 18, 2016, at his home. Born August 30, 1943, in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of Louise Caroline Case Cannon Dilleshaw of Young Harris, GA and the late Howard Lindsey Cannon. A U. S. Navy veteran and graduate of Spartanburg High School, Mr. Cannon enjoyed hunting, fishing, flying, and other outdoor activities. He was a fourth generation lifelong self-employed piano tuner and member of St. James United Methodist Church. In addition to his mother, survivors include his children, Lisa Cannon Grant (David) of Greenwood, SC and Ronald Keith Cannon (Emily) of Gilbert, AZ; six grandchildren, Mary Beth Grant, Katherine Grant, Carly Cannon, Nathan Cannon, Ellie Cannon, and Trevor Cannon; and sister, Shirley Moore (Tom) of Young Harris, GA. He was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy Sowell Cannon; and daughter, Pamela Christine Cannon. The family will host visitation 2:00-3:00 PM Sunday, October 23, 2016, at St. James United Methodist Church. A celebration honoring his life will follow at 3:00 PM, at the church, conducted by the Rev. Wayne Smith.
