Ronald Blackwell

Ronald Lynn Blackwell, 61, of Spartanburg, SC died Monday, February 22, 2021 at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born December 12, 1959 in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of Irene Foster Blackwell of Boiling Springs, SC, and the late Ray Blackwell. Mr. Blackwell was employed as an electrical lineman with Sumter Utilities. He loved hunting, fishing, and gardening. In addition to his mother, he is survived by a daughter, Angela Marie Owens (Kevin) of Boiling Springs, SC; son, James Ronald Blackwell (Audra) of Spartanburg, SC; fiancé, Lisa Garcia and three grandchildren, Nicholas Owens, Emily Owens, and Monroe Blackwell. He was predeceased by brothers, Donald Glenn Blackwell and Walter Eugene Blackwell. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, February 26, 2021 at Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel, 4161 Hwy 9 North, Boiling Springs, SC 29316. A family service will be held Saturday conducted by The Rev. Bart Mitchell.
