Roger Milliken

Roger Milliken, 95, of Spartanburg, died Thursday, December 30, 2010 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born October 24, 1915 in New York City, NY, he was the son of the late Gerrish Hill and Agnes Gayley Milliken and was predeceased by his wife of 55 years, Justine "Nita" Van Rensselaer Hooper. Survivors include two daughters, Jan and Nancy; three sons, Roger, David, and Weston; nine grandchildren; his brother, Gerrish; his sister, Anne; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday January 3, 2011 at Episcopal Church of the Advent. A private committal service was held earlier.
