Roger Belk

Roger Eugene Belk, 67, of Pacolet, SC, died Sunday, September 29, 2013, at Mary Black Memorial Hospital. Born October 15, 1945, in Union County, SC, he was the son of the late Javis Monroe "J. M." Belk Jr. and Gaynelle Cooper Belk. Mr. Belk was a member of Brown's Chapel Baptist Church and employed by P & W Trucking. Survivors include his beloved wife of 49 years, Anna Lou Jackson Belk; children, Chris Belk of Pacolet, Randy Belk of Roebuck, and Michelle Rider of Pacolet; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM Wednesday, October 2, 2013, at Floyd's Pacolet Chapel, 141 Memorial Drive, Pacolet, SC 29372, by the Rev. Ralph Jett. Burial will be in Pacolet Memorial Gardens. Visitation will follow at the graveside.
