Robin Richardson

Robin D. Richardson, 69, of Inman, SC, died Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born May 29, 1950 in Charleston, SC, he was the son of the late Ernest Franklin and Doris Milner Richardson. Robin was a retired engineer with Norfolk Southern Railroad. He was loved by everyone, with a huge heart and very giving. He never met a stranger. Survivors include his loving wife of 51 years, Claudia Banks Richardson of the home; daughter, Pamela Kay Newman of Boiling Springs, SC, Sharon Abbott Lee (Howard) of Rome, GA; son, Kevin Dion Richardson (Aimee) of Duncan, SC; grandchildren, Dustin Tyler Newman of Roebuck, SC, Jacob Hayden Abbott of Roebuck, SC, Annabel Lee of Rome, GA, Andrew Coley of Boiling Springs, SC, Ethan Richardson of Duncan, SC; and great granddaughter, Katen Newman of Roebuck, SC; and a sister, Andraine McCoy of Winston-Salem, NC. Visitation will be at 1:00 - 1:45 PM Monday, June 17, 2019 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. A Celebration of Life service will be at 2:00 PM at the chapel, conducted by The Rev. Andy Case.
