Robin Penland

Martha Robin Penland, 50, of Spartanburg, SC died Thursday, June 19, 2014. Born September 17, 1963 in Rockwood, TN, she was the daughter of the late Jimmy Franklin and Betty Jo Doughty. She was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her husband of 8 years, Robert Niles Penland; daughter, April Hobbs of Boiling Springs, SC; son, Christopher Goode of Boiling Springs, SC; 10 grandchildren; sister, Elaine Tucker of Landrum, SC; and brothers, John Isham, Keith Doughty and Phillip Doughty, all of Spartanburg, SC. Visitation will be 1:00-1:45 PM Monday, June 23, 2014, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM, at the chapel, conducted by the Rev. Andy Case. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family is at their respective homes.
