Robin Blanton

Robin Burns Blanton, 52, of Pacolet, died Saturday, October 3, 2009, at her home. Born June 20, 1957, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of R. S. Burns of Pacolet Mills and the late Faye Worthy Burns. She was a former secretary at the Spartanburg City Fire Department and a member of Pacolet Mills Baptist Church where she was a member of the Prism Sunday School Class and a former choir member. Surviving in addition to her father are two sons, Cory Blanton and his wife Crystal of Spartanburg, and Josh Blanton of Union; two sisters, Donna Camby and Sandy Servin, both of Pacolet; and special friends, Cindy Copeland, Judy Mabry, and Donna Sue Anderson. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 6, 2009, at Pacolet Mills Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 7, 2009, at Pacolet Mills Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Norman L. Band and the Rev. Johnny Bridges. Burial will be in Pacolet Memorial Gardens. Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to Pacolet Mills Baptist Church Family Life Center, P. O. Box 660, Pacolet Mills, SC 29373. The family is at the home of her sister, Donna Camby, 180 Harvey Street, Pacolet.
