Robert "Moon" Mcmillan

Robert Stephen McMillan, 71, of Spartanburg, SC, died Sunday, February 13, 2022 at his home. Born January 7, 1951 in Spartanburg, he was the son of the late Robert and Elizabeth Burns McMillan.

Moon was the owner of Valley Tavern. He was a Shriner, 32nd degree Mason, and a member of the Roebuck Lodge #357 AFM, an avid golfer and NASCAR fan, and all-around sports enthusiast.

Survivors include his brother, Randy McMillan of the home, sister, Nancy Alley of Spartanburg, his companion, Vera Gault of the home, her children and his beloved grandchildren. Also, his nieces, great nieces and nephews, and cousins. He will be sorely missed by his Tavern family.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Reception will be at 2:00 – 4:00 PM Sunday, February 20, 2022 at the Valley Tavern, 8160 Valley Falls Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29303.
