Robert Wilson

Robert "Bob" Eugene Wilson, 74, of Lyman, SC, died Wednesday, November 8, 2017, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born September 30, 1943, in Terre Haute, IN, he was the son of the late Orval and Vera Welch Wilson. A U. S. Army veteran and retired mechanic, Bob loved his family and also enjoyed fishing. He was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Karen Peeler Wilson; children, Laura Hayes (Stan) of Loxahatchee, FL, Todd Wilson of Kentucky, and Robert Wilson (April) of Campobello, SC; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, Fred Wilson (Barb) of Arizona; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Richard Wilson. Visitation will be 1:00-1:45 PM Sunday, November 12, 2017, at Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel, 4161 Hwy 9 N, Boiling Springs, SC 29316. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Andy Case. Burial will be in Boiling Springs Memorial Gardens, 4081 Hwy 9 N, Boiling Springs, SC 29316.
