Robert White Jr.

Robert Edward White, Jr., 45, of Hagerstown, MD and formerly of Spartanburg, SC, died Thursday, October 15, 2015. Born May 20, 1970, in Spartanburg, he was the son of Mary Honbarger White of Spartanburg, SC and the late Robert Edward White, Sr. Robert had a great sense of humor and loved his nephews as his own. He was a member of Roebuck #357 Masonic Lodge, a master mason, and was employed as a dispatcher with Plumley Trucking. He was also a Board member of the Trans Am Club and enjoyed entering his Trans Am in auto competitions. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Jennifer Teach White of Hagerstown, MD; sister, LeAnn Park of Cowpens, SC; half-sister, Cynthia White Miller of Spartanburg, SC; and four nephews, Brandon Lee (Toya), Bryan Lee (Jennifer), Ryan Lee, and Cody White (Kayla). Visitation will be 6:30-8:30 PM Sunday, October 18, 2015, at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel, 235 N. Church St., Spartanburg, SC 29306. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Monday, October 19, 2015, at Solid Rock Church, by the Rev. Randy Lewis and the Rev. Brian Waddell. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Solid Rock Church Building Fund, 1326 Union Street, Spartanburg, SC 29302. The family is at the home of his mother, Mary White, 179 Clayton Road, Spartanburg, SC 29306.
