Robert Tucker

Robert Sherman Tucker, 83, of Woodruff, SC, died Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at his home. Born December 17, 1938 in Laurens, SC, he was the son of the late Lester and Nannie Richards Tucker, and was the husband of the late Peggy Jo Lawson Tucker.

Robert was retired from Tie-Tex. He was a Shriner and was a member of Anchor Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and loved to read his bible.

Survivors include his son, Ricky Tucker (Lisa), of Inman, SC; grandchildren, Travis Tucker (Kandy) of Pacolet, SC, Heather Tucker (Bobby) of Woodruff, SC, and Tyler Tucker (Amy) of Spartanburg, SC; great grandchildren, Kenslee Tucker, Kylie Tucker, Lily Tucker, Makayla Tucker, and Scarlett Hedge. Along with his parents and wife, he was also predeceased by a son, Robert Tucker.

A Graveside service will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, March 3, 2022 at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by Mr. Travis Tucker. Visitation will follow at the graveside.
