Robert Serig

Bob Serig, 72, of Inman, died Monday, December 3, 2012, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born April 4, 1940, in Washington, PA, he was the son of the late Hugh Everett and Elizabeth Pennington Serig. A veteran of the U. S. Navy, he was retired from Lowe's in Boiling Springs, SC, and was a member of New Beginnings United Methodist Church. Surviving are his loving wife of 46 years, Christine Jones Serig; daughter, Susan Serig Perham and husband Keith of Simpsonville, SC; son, Scott Robert Serig of Ayden, NC; and grandsons, Luke Perham and Jackson Perham. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday, December 6, 2012, at Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday, December 7, 2012, at Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel, by Pastor Bobby Gilbert. Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Inman, SC.
