Robert Seay

Robert “Bobby” Wayne Seay, 70, of Spartanburg, SC, died Friday, June 10, 2022 at his home. Born March 27, 1952 in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of the late Boyce Howard and Margaret Goodwin Seay.

Bobby was retired from Nationwide Insurance Company after 20 years of service. He was a NASCAR fan and an avid sports fan, especially football.

Survivors include his brother, Buddy Seay (Benni) of Pauline, SC, his uncle, John Goodwin of Spartanburg, SC, niece, Maggie Moore (Randy) of Boiling Springs, SC, and great nephew, Myles Moore. He was predeceased by an aunt, Margie Goodwin and uncle, Earl Goodwin.

A Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM Thursday, June 16, 2022 at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by The Rev. Brendon Crowe. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Friendship Baptist Church, 830 Friendship Church Road, Pauline, SC 29374.
